cursus "Hoe stop je een uitzetting"

De kabinetsplannen om 26.000 mensen uit de Nederlandse samenleving te
verwijderen of als dat niet lukt ze tot dakloosheid te veroordelen zijn
onacceptabel. Het beleid van Minister Verdonk heeft tot brede
maatschappelijke onrust en tal van lokale acties geleid.

Ook Amsterdam Anders/de Groenen wil het geweldloze burgerlijk verzet
steunen en organiseert daarom samen met het ASKV/steunpunt vluchtelingen,
 de Activistenschool en pakhuis Afrika/de Zwijger een gratis cursus "Hoe
 stop je een uitzetting". In deze cursus wordt uitgelegd hoe een groep
van 20 á 30 mensen op een geweldloze manier een uitzetting kan voorkomen.
 

Doel van de actie is tweeledig. Enerzijds moet het tot de nodige media
aandacht leiden, om duidelijk te maken dat er veel verzet te verwachten
is vanuit de bevolking. Het politieke besluit is misschien gevallen,
maar de solidariteitsacties gaan door zolang deze vluchtelingen nog in
Nederland zijn. Anderzijds is er de mogelijkheid dat de cursisten zich
na afloop van de cursus inschrijven in een belpiramide. Bij een
mogelijke ontruiming kan daarmee snel een grote groep mensen worden
gemobiliseerd om een ontruiming te voorkomen.

Course "How to stop a deportation?"

The plans of the Dutch kabinet to remove 26.000 people from the Dutch society or if this doesn't work to condemn them to homelessness are unacceptable. The policy of Minister Verdonk has resulted in great unrest in the society and numerous local actions.

Also Amsterdam Anders/de Groenen wants to support non-violent civil resistance and therefore organizes together with ASKV/refugee support group, the Activists school and Pakhuis Afrika/De Zwijger a free course "How to stop a deportation". In this course a group of 20 to 30 people will learn how to prevent a deportation or eviction in a non-violent manner.

The objective of the course is twofold. First it should attract a lot of media attention to make clear that strong resistance can be expected from within the population. The political decision may have been taken but solidarity actions will continue as long as these refugees are still in the Netherlands. Second, the people attending the course can register afterwards to form a alarm call piramid. In case of a possible eviction of refugees a big group of supporters can get mobilised quickly to prevent it.
